Sharing Summer and Wine
Exciting things have been happening at Malivoire. If you've visited us recently or seen our newest LCBO Vintages releases, you're aware of the lively changes to our labels. This year at Malivoire is about more than a new look, though. Curious? Make time, Saturday June 6th, 10am - 5pm, to join our 2009 Welcome Summer event. Our Proprietors and staff will share the fun of exploring the winery with you, and treat you to offerings from our celebrity chef.
We will also share new wine available now online and in our retail store.
Somewhereness: Old Soils, New Wines
April 21-22, 2009
Join the Malivoire people along with winery partners from Charles Baker, Flatrock Cellars, Norman Hardie, Stratus, and Tawse for Somewhereness 2009, our 3rd annual celebration of wine from the ancient soils of Ontario.
This year’s gathering is co-produced by Vintages and takes place the week of Earth Day, April 21 and 22 (doors open at 6 pm), under the roof of Toronto’s Artscape Wychwood Barns, a one-of-a kind site that marries the built and natural heritages of Canada’s largest city.
You will be treated to the vision of Wine Spectator writer Matt Kramer (the celebrated originator of the “somewhereness” concept) as he guides you through a tasting of wines that best define Ontario.
Tickets, $99 each, can be purchased online at somewhereness.com or by contacting VINTAGES at 416-365-5767 or toll-free at 1- 800-266-4764, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Please hurry though, only 210 places are available each evening.
