These wines are made from the varietals that we feel most reliably achieve our goals in terms of quality, quantity and ripeness. We look for consistent high quality and sufficient yields to ensure that our customers can count on finding these wines at most times of the year. If Malivoire had to survive on only five wines, these would be the ones.
2007 Pinot Gris
Gently fragrant on the nose, hinting of honeydew melon, lemon gum, lime and grapefruit zest. A spicy, soft, creamy palate suggestive of liquid honey and white jellybean, finishing with a touch of black licorice and a dash of minerality. more info
2006 Chardonnay
Aromas and flavours abound suggesting pear, baked apply, grapefruit and orange zest. Well balanced, this wine is creamy with a crisp, long finish. more info
2007 Ladybug Rosé
The palate is rich and creamy, full-bodied with flavours of red licorice, strawberry, rhubarb, and maraschino cherry. A hint of sweetness up front makes way for a refreshingly long, dry finish. more info
2006 Gamay
Vibrant ruby colour; an intense nose of fresh, ripe bramble fruits followed by strawberry, vanilla and cinnamon. Bright berry on the palate, this wine has a delicate finish with soft tannin and lively acidity. more info
2006 Pinot Noir
This wine admirably follows in the footsteps of the 2005 Pinot Noir. Red cherry and forest floor aromas are followed by complex flavours of sweet cherry pie, citrus, sweet pea, dried tobacco, clove and juniper twig. Medium bodied with soft tannins, this wine finishes long, creamy and fresh. more info
