More great news – the 2008 vintage allowed us to be generous about the price. Although our superb 2007 Foch sold out within weeks at $31.95 a bottle, the new vintage is being released at a fetching $24.95 or $299.40/case.
Dark plum-purple in the glass, the nose of this wine infers plum jam, raisin, juniper, spice box and autumn leaves. Silky smooth in your mouth, flavours point to blue fruits, dark roast coffee, and vanilla, leaving a characteristically long, savoury finish.

Other things you may not know about this dark, moody, intense wine...
Fact: Old Vines Foch is so dark it can ingest the flame from a candle. Given time, it can ingest the candle.
Fact: In winery lingo a box holding 12 bottles of Old Vines Foch is not a “case”. It is (in deference to French army parlance) a “Combat Group”.
Fact: Old Vines Foch doesn't age. It waits.
Fact: Old Vines Foch has such density, a bottle launched into space would shift the orbit of the moon. A case would realign the solar system.
Fact: Old Vines Foch doesn't accompany food. It permits food.
Our 2008 Old Vines Foch is also notable for its new label and “Albert’s Honour” designation, a reference to Martin Malivoire’ great uncle who was awarded the French Legion on Honour for his heroism in World War I. Be sure to read the back label for the full, personal story from Martin.
