"****1/2 From a single certified organic vineyard run by Martin Malivoire on the Beamsville Bench, this satiny, supple, yet well-structured pinot shows fragrant, beguiling aromas of cherry-raspberry fruit, floral notes and dried herbs, plus chocolate and spice from aging in French oak. Fine tannin and excellent flavour focus. Winery only."

"(87) This pinot is evolving at the speed of sound; already showing brick coloration at the edge of the glass. The nose is very generous and intriguing with strawberry-rhubarb and beetroot fruit amid smoky oak and dried herbs. Light to mid weight, satiny soft texture with some warmth, moderate acidity and very light tannin. Completely ready to drink now."

"****1/2 out of 5. Bright, clear ruby with tiny orange edge. Nose of red berries, big exotic spice, herbal and potpourri. Medium bodied with spicy fruit flavours, an early and mild grip of dusty tannins, fresh acidity and herbal/spicy finish. Roasted Berkshire pork loin with cherry, natural jus."

"**** A strikingly good single-vineyard Pinot Noir that reveals layers of earthy/floral complexity, the 2004 Moira Vineyard presents tight-knit chery fruit and a touch of spice and cocoa on the palate. This has intensity, depth of flavour and follow-through. It also has a future - its best is yet to come. Drink after 2007."
