"(89) Not flamboyant but nicely integrated, subtle and layered - what Malivoire has always done best. Soft aroma of pear-apple, licorice and a hint of wet stone on the nose - aromas more like Italian pinot grigio than Alsatian pinot gris. It's medium-bodied, fleshy and balanced; with a dry lively finish."

"****1/2 out of 5. Light straw colour with peach, pear, orange blossom and mineral aromas, medium bodied and flavoursome with melon, tangerine nuances, great acidity and lingering finish. Try with cod in summer fruit, balsamic salsa."

"****1/2 out of 5. Supplies of this exceptional white wine are quickly depleting, which comes as little surprise given the obvious charm and personality. There's an unbeatable combination of expressive peach, pear, orange blossom and mineral aromas with a medium-bodied palate that offers terrific flavour intensity. Look for melon and tangerine nuances, great acidity and a lingering finish. Try with cod in summer fruit, balsamic salsa."

"Crisp Ripe Lemon Pear. Very pale straw colour. Still youthful, fairly intense, ripe apple and dried lemon fruit on the nose with some mineral notes. Dry, very bright, medium-light bodied, fairly tangy, ripe lemon and dried pear flavours with a crisp finish. Screwcap closure."

"Tasting note: Platinum colour with peach and green apple aromas. It's dry, medium-full bodied with good balance between peachy fruit flavour and oak notes. Finishes medium-long and would be a superb match with sauteed scallops or grilled shrimp. (VINTAGES panel, Nov 2006)"
