The inspiration that led to Malivoire 'Honours' came not so long ago, as Ontario struggled against the recurring threat of Covid-19.
Conceived in the spring of 2022 as one surge of spread was being brought under control, it was spearheaded by our Assistant Winemaker, Dan Stouck. Having an R.N. in his family, he was well aware of the self-sacrifice local health care workers were taking on the daily to get the virus in check. Since we, Dan’s co-workers, like the rest of our community, were among the beneficiaries of their efforts, we wanted to offer something in recognition.
Malivoire 'Honours' was the result. Carefully crafted under Dan’s supervision from selected white wine varieties, it is named in gratitude to our health care front-liners for their dedication to the community we share and depend on. The initial run was presented free-of-charge to the local doctors, nurses, hospital and clinical staff, paramedics and others who had kept our vital health services running.

The retail price, $22 a bottle, will support community health care. Malivoire will donate 100% of all sales to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation, in direct support of medical procedures and equipment purchases. LEARN MORE
