2023 Pinot Gris

Winemaker's Notes:

A delicate coral pink shade tells of the wine’s copper-hued parent grape.  A swirl coaxes honeydew melon, citrusy lime zest, peach, yellow apple, pineapple and apricot.  A splash is creamy with a tangy lemony fringe, and flavours of green apple, peach and pear, leading to a citrusy mineral finish.

Picked by hand in late September from the mature vines of the Malivoire Estate Vineyard, as grape sugars achieved 19.5° Brix.

Hand-sorted clusters were destemmed and pressed for primary fermentation in stainless steel. To capture optimum youth and freshness, the new wine was bottled after three months in tank, in December 2023.

Enjoy now through 2027.

At the time of bottling alcohol was measured at 12%, residual sugar at 0 gram per litre, titratable acidity 7 grams per litre and pH at 3.3.

Dry: 0 g/L residual sugar
